About
Welcome to Mosman Netball
We are a community-run sporting association, providing children and adults from the lower north shore with the opportunity to play netball (which is, according to the Bureau of Statistics, the most popular team sport played by females in Australia!). We offer fun, fitness, fair competition, as well as community ties.
The origins of Mosman Netball Club stem from local mums and local girls wanting to play local netball. In the 1980s Maureen Sinclair (Life Member and Past President) started the first Mosman team and ran the administration from the garage of her home.
Throughout the years Mosman Netball has evolved to over 600+ members and is the largest Community Netball Club in Australia.
Why join Mosman Netball?
Fun: We are a community! Our fresh approach to netball will ensure girls of all ages are always having fun and enjoy the sport. Aside from playing, we organise social events and networking opportunities for players and parents. Be aware netball is a volunteer intensive sport.
Fitness: Seniors - Get rid of your gym membership and benefit from club funded fitness and subsidised gym sessions. Juniors - benefit from regular coaching sessions with our skilled volunteer coaches who are under the guidance of our professional coaches.
Fair competition: MNC prides itself on, and invests heavily in our amazing umpires and volunteer coaches who truly embody what 'fair competition' stands for. We have comprehensive training programs throughout the year and this leadership is passed down to our girls who embody this spirit on the court in the way they play.
