Introduction To Netball
Our Introduction to Netball is a wonderful way to introduce the game of netball and the relevant skill sets to our new young players.
Our Introduction to Netball Clinics kick off in term 2 and are specifically designed for our young aspiring players ready to commence their netball journey. Ideally you will be in year 1 at school and have little or no netball experience. Our leading program is designed to introduce fundamental ball skills, footwork, balance, coordination and ball skills, along with the foundations of the game.
Introduction to Netball is on in terms 2 and 3.
Mosman Netball has set the benchmark in grassroots training, so come and see what all the fuss is about! Are you ready to be the next Maddy Proud?
Please refer to our “Player Information” tab for our Club Calendar for this year’s dates.
- Clinic is held at Mosman Drill Hall netball courts, Cross St., Mosman
- We take Active Kids Vouchers for this program.
- 8 week program – 1 hour duration
- The final week will run slightly longer (4pm – 5.30pm) to allow our girls to put their skills into practise with a mini round-robin competition. Following this, there will be a Presentation, which is a highlight for the players!
Transitioning from “Introduction to Netball Clinics” to Playing in the Winter Competition
Children who have completed Introduction to Netball are invited to participate in our Term 4, NetSetGo Summer Competition. Matches are held on Friday afternoons.
Following one Introduction to Netball course and one Term 4 NetSetGo Summer Competition, your child will be ready to compete in the Winter Competition commencing April the following year.
Please watch our website for further information regarding registrations for the Winter Competition each January.
