Mosman Netball Club

Mosman Netball fields teams in the Northern Suburbs Netball Association (NSNA) winter competition played at Bicentennial Courts, Small Street, Willoughby on Saturday afternoons.

Mosman Netball is growing from strength to strength and our Senior Division is getting bigger every year. We always welcome new players (teams or individuals) of any standard. You can choose to be in a ‘more serious team’ or choose to be in a team that just wants to ‘turn up and play’ on the weekend.

Our Senior Division includes:

• Cadets – 15yrs
• Seniors – 16 years and over
• 14 Rounds of competition
• 3 Rounds of Final Series, including Semi Finals/Finals/Grand Finals

Registration Requirements:

At registration, we ask you to specify if you:

• Have an existing team, to please list team name/any players.
• If you are new to the Club and wish to be appointed to a team.
• All players must have fully paid their registration fee in order to play.
• All players must wear the Mosman Netball uniform.
• All players must adhere to our Code of Behaviour.

Senior Teams:

All senior teams must nominate a Captain/Manager who will be the point of contact between the club and the team.

The Captain/Manager is responsible for:

• The kit bag (including ball and bibs).
• Advising the Seniors’ VP of forfeits.
• Advising the Seniors’ VP when players need to be/have been borrowed.
• Ensuring all team members are officially “checked-in” for each game using the online scoring app.
• Verifying the final scoresheet as captain. 

Senior Division Umpires 

• Must hold a current pass in Netball Australia’s “Rules of Netball Theory Examination” online (70% pass is required. The test is multiple choice, open book and you have 1 hour to complete). Click here to start
• Senior umpires must be 16+ years of age.
• Senior Umpires receive a payment at the end of the season in recognition of the effort they have put in over the season.
• All umpires must make themselves available to umpire when required and must have a current pass in the Umpires Exam.
